It never ceases to amaze me that there are people willing to live in cat shit - here's another one where 53 cats were removed from a home in Bethlehem, Connecticut.

Nine lives, but only three shapes

I'm not sure what cat shape describes Tilly but I know she's not a square. Circle sounds most like her.

Bad news today - three Cats die in suspected poisoning in Northern Ireland. Even if it is accidental, they should charge somebody with negligence -- or stupidity. I will continue to advocate till the day I die that stupidity should be a crime in most instances.

I almost didn't read this one about the cat that alerted its family to a fire because I thought it would end badly. Fortunately, this one has a happy ending.

Woke up this morning to the story about a one-eyed kitten. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately for the kitten, he didn't live very long. Can you imagine living with a cat like that?

First, I'm No Cat Lady

Though this may cinch it. On an almost daily basis, I see headlines about cats - hero cats, stray cats, one-eyed cats...so I thought I'd start a new blog. I've been blogging since November 2002 -- but have gotten out of the habit lately. Maybe this will help me get back into the daily blogging groove.
